I have food allergies, which of your Rugelach can I eat?
Our Rugelach contain wheat, dairy and tree nuts. They are lovingly produced in a kitchen that also processes eggs, soy and peanuts. We are not an allergy-free baker.
Our Chocolate, Cherry, Raisin, Pecan Rugelach is available with a nut free option.
Can you deliver my Rugelach to me?
Yes, we deliver on Wednesday of each week to your home within the Chicagoland area.
Boundaries of our delivery area are:
From Montrose, north to Devon and south to Randolph
From Broadway west to Ashland
The delivery charge is $11.50
We work with 4Star Courier for our local deliveries.
How long will my Rugelach last?
Our Rugelach are very hearty, they stay fresh unrefrigerated for about three days. However, If you want them to last longer, putting them in a plastic bag in the fridge will keep them fresh for from 8 to 10 days. Or, place them in the freezer in a sealed container and they will freeze really well for up to 8 months.
Can I come by and pick up my Rugelach?
Sure, come by and say hello!
Pick-up days and times are:
Monday: 2:00 - 6:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am - noon
What’s your return policy?
We’re sorry but due to the health related, sanitary and perishable nature of this packaged food product, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
We’re not responsible for theft or damage to packages left outdoors resulting from a delivery where no one is able to receive the package or cannot be delivered, or is delayed in delivery due to an order placed with incomplete or incorrect shipping information.
Refunds may not be given for shipping delays caused by inclement weather, package refusal, and/or incomplete or incorrect delivery address information.
What’s the best way to heat them up after they’ve been refrigerated?
Please don’t use a microwave. Our Rugelach are sensitive and don’t like their molecules rearranged. Leave them out on the counter to warm up to room temperature. Or, wrap them in foil and place them in a warm oven for ten minutes or so.
How long does it take to make my order?
Your Rugelach will be ready for shipping, delivery or pick up in from six to seven days from the time the order is placed.
How long does shipping take?
We ship orders on Tuesday of each week 2nd Day Air, via USPS. Your order should reach you in about two days. Should your order be delayed a day or so in the postal system, don’t worry, the Rugelach will be just fine.
