Pistachio Fennel Mandel Bread

I was making a fresh batch of our Pistachio Fennel Mandel Bread the other day when a credo of my Grandma Fay’s popped into my head.

She used to tell me that she believed that as a grandmother of six grandchildren, her personal value was to make sure that she did not show “partiality“ of any sort to any one grandchild. I know full well that she loved me best !!

Why she chose to share this with me was curious for sure, but for some reason, this lesson has stayed with me.

I know I am not supposed to be partial, however, this Pistachio and Fennel flavor combination is really a favorite of mine.  I love how it smells baking in the oven and the color is a bit well, pistachio beautiful!
